  • Things I Learn: It’s Hard to Not Help My Kids

One of the saddest things that happens as a parent is to see your kids suffering or struggling and not be able to help them.

For example, Lucy has a little rash on her belly right now and she keeps scratching it until it bleeds. The sad part? I keep putting calamine lotion on it, and she keeps crying uncontrollable every time.

So hard to just sit back and let your kids go through their process. I have to let them, because I don’t really have an option. Not to mention it makes them better.

It’s just difficult. Probably good for both of us to go through the process.
