This morning our 2 older girls were arguing who would get to wake up early, get ready while everyone sleeps and go to church early with me to serve.

I really love what we’re starting to create in our family. I’m discovering it’s less about balance and more about a lifestyle we live. It’s not different compartments for family, church, friends and whatever else.

I’ve always believed working in any environment you want to give your life to has to be a lifestyle, or it simply won’t work. What I’m learning is, making it a lifestyle takes a lot of work. But it’s work worthy of your energy and time.
